My approach

I draw on person-centred counselling, Internal Family Systems and relational approaches to help clients understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
Together, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships and life experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you move towards greater clarity, self-acceptance and emotional wellbeing.

My Journey

Before training as a counsellor, my life took me through many diverse experiences. I worked on challenging social projects across Europe, including in Northern Ireland during the 1990s and in Croatia during the war. These experiences deepened my understanding of resilience, trauma, community and the importance of human connection. On returning to Scotland, I pursued a career as a visual artist. Although creativity remained central to my life, I gradually felt called back towards the healing professions. After many years of study, personal development and professional training, counselling and therapy became the place where my experiences, values and interests came together.Today, I feel privileged to support people as they navigate life's challenges and discover new ways of relating to themselves and those around them

Professional Commitment

As a Registered Member of the BACP, I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and am committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional and ethical practice. I engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure my work remains safe, effective and informed by current best practice. Confidentiality, respect and the wellbeing of every client are at the heart of everything I do

I believe that true healing occurs when we address the root causes of our challenges and integrate all aspects of ourselves - mind, body, and spirit. When we honor the unique journey of each individual and provide a safe, compassionate space to explore and heal. My approach is rooted in the principles of holistic therapy, which recognizes the interconnectedness of all aspects of life and supports a greater sense of balance and well-being.
